Spring Trend Spot
Ahhh Spring. If you're anything like me you've been chasing the sun around for the last few days, desperate to soak up any rays you can before they inevitably disappear. Good old English weather! The suns also brought out all the flowers in their Spring colours, and they are excellent opportunities to tap into what colours are trending this time of year, and what better time for a digital spring clean! Here's a breakdown of some of the colours trending for Spring this year (and they all have hex codes, I wouldn’t want to make your lives difficult!)
Mocha Mousse
This colour has already been dominating our winter wardrobes, interiors and branding, and it's set to infiltrate our spring colour palettes too! And who can be surprised? As Pantone's colour of the year, Mocha Mousse is set to stay, and we're absolutely fine with it! This colour adds a warm tone to any collection whilst keeping your brand neutral and minimal.
Wispy Pink
Pinks have had their fair share of time in the spotlight over the last few years with Barbie Pink dominating 2023. This year, pinks are taking a softer approach with Wispy Pink leading the way. It's a fantastic way to add subtle femininity to any branding, without going bold. It pairs brilliantly with Mocha Mousse!
Butter Yellow
Ask anyone what the first sign of spring is and most will say daffodils. Butter Yellow brings that same sunny energy into the online space and is the perfect nod of colour for any branding. Bold and energetic? Use it to light up a background. Prefer the minimal approach, a subtle pop of butter yellow in a button or call to action adds that springtime shine without being too much.
Sky Blue
After a long winter, who doesn't crave a bit of blue skies? This is a classic colour that can lean preppy or corporate, gentle or bold. Why not try combining with some of the softer colours to create a gentle, whimsical vibe? Or with this years favourite Mocha Mousse for some old-money style charm.
Clementine
Last but no means least, Clementine adds a pop of colour, heat and sunshine. There's no denying that orange has impact, and clementine combines that with a more natural hue, perfect for spring time!
